VCE Preparation Package: the ideal foundation for students in Years 10 and 11

Students must acquire a solid foundation in essay writing (text response; persuasive essays; speeches; creative and argument analysis). They will use the metalanguage booklet in conjunction with the “Language of Persuasion” to perfect their knowledge of persuasive techniques and argument structure.  They must analyse narrative and story-telling devices, and use these devices in their own personal writing. They must use analytical sentence models in text response as well as argument analysis and use correct grammar to aid clear and polished written expression. Students can also access our online support and “suggested answers” for the exercises in the workbooks.
