Perfect for students from Years 8 to 10.
Students will progress to the top of the class if they can:
- write 10 grammatically correct sentences every paragraph;
- show an awareness of narrative devices and their purpose;
- analyse the layers of meaning in a text;
- streamline their structure of essays showing a logical progression of ideas.
- include a smart challenge that shows an awareness of problems, exceptions and ironies in a text.
The focus of the VCE Foundation class is:
text analysis; written expression; correct grammar; argument analysis and advanced comprehension; essay-writing structure; use of analytical terminology (narrative devices) to gain analytical precision and depth;
Location: Kerrimuir Neighbourhood House, 47 Linda Street, Box Hill North; parking on site.
Classes held on Sundays. $35 per student.
