The English Works Spelling Check

$12.95

This booklet focuses on word patterns. It groups words with prefixes (“acqu” and “irre”) and words with suffixes (“ent”; “ous”, “eous”).

It also groups words with double letters (double “r” and double “c”) and includes words that reinforce the “i before c” rule.

Other groups have random double letters and silent letters.

The workbook consists of a range of activities to reinforce the words. Students are also encouraged to keep a notebook and write out groups of words as frequently as possible and use these words in sentences.
