Class on Saturday 3rd February: at 10.15

1. Creative pieces: how to write dialogue; how to build character through dialogue (Simon Tong/Growing Up Asian)
2. Text response work: Paragraphs on Simon Tong: “Beat of a different drum”. Using the paragraph, from the lesson write another similar paragraph from another story. We will make comparisons, focussing on similarities and differences. (ie focus on comparative paragraphs; writing comparisons.)
3. Paragraph focussing on purpose: Language Analysis Paragraphs and terminology
