A deeper analysis
Analysing an author’s narrative techniques (their “how” devices) enables you to sharpen your essay. A focus on key symbols, narrative perspectives, imagery, character parallels, stage directions, setting etc. enables you to analyse an author’s views, values and intentions at a deeper level.
“How” techniques
Our resources focus on themes, characters and quotes and particularly the author’s narrative (“how”) devices.
